  • Sounds like you may be experiencing the symptoms of a panic attack. I'm not a medical doctor and I'd never presume to have clinical knowledge of about your symptoms. If you experience these symptoms on a regular basis, I recommend that you visit your Health Care provider. They are trained to accurately diagnose your symptoms and prescribe a treatment.

  • i hve been stressing for a long time in life and i am only 14! i get so scared and fearful of things and i dont know why!, then i get chest pains and headaches and feel dizzy ! i feel as if im gonna faint and i dont think people know hw im feeling i need help really bad on this cos im just so fearful of things and new people and i just dont know what to do!

  • @Clary786 I'm not a doctor and I would never dispense any advice about such serious problems. I would suggest that you bring your concerns to your parents and possibly to your school counselor if you have one available.

The more trustworthy adult people you can bring your problems to, the better off you'll be at discovering ways to cope with the problems that are bothering you. Reach out for their help and guidance.

  • I've had this new type of attack where I feel like I'm losing it, it's most likely due to new freedom I'm trying to handle. I've had panic attacks from having too much food in my refridgerator etc, so I think this is what is causing it.

  • @Kan2209 Anxiety attacks come in many forms from mild to debilitating. The one thing to remember, and is what I have had to learn, is to focus on your breathing. Slow it down. Then what has been very effective for me is diversion of distraction. Find something humorous to think about then really focus on how funny that thing was. If you have access to your computer, spend some time surfing Youtube or the web for really funny stuff. Stuff that makes you laugh out loud. The bookmark it. Laugh!

  • you will get shivers like a mother fucker. no matter how calm you try to be, they wont stop. the anxiety causes shivers which cause shivers.

shortness of breath and i had a cery VERY light heart beat.

  • @mrfourtysevenman Learning meditation relaxation techniques can be very beneficial in dealing with the symptoms of anxiety. Getting to the root of what's causing your anxiety and either eliminate or re-access the situation oftentimes has much better results. It can be very freighting to experience physical manifestations of anxiety such as shivers, but there are natural methods to cure or greatly reduce the effects of stress and anxiety.

  • What does it mean when I breathe heavily have the feeling to throw up palms get really sweaty and after this is over I don't remember anything? What causes me to do this is when I remember something that I don't remember after this episode is over
