This was the biggest catch of my life, I left it tied to shore safely in the water so I could return with help to move it for official measurement at Gander Mountain. The state record is 70lbs and my fish was larger than my dog. When I returned my fish was gone and my knots untied??stringer on the shore... My bet is a Carver, MN local knows this is a large Cat hole and released "My fish" to catch himself someday, or maybe you took a pic and claimed it on the Yahoo river, mn. I got robbed. check out my funny ringtone: http://www.CharacterTones.com

  • He didn't snag the fish ... He hooked it in the corner of the mouth ... he just tied it off to shore on a stringer @ Tom Peterson ... the youtube policeman ... LOL ...

  • snagging is illegal. you are suppose to release any fish you snag

  • same thing happened to me 10 years ago in Mankato.

  • i fish by the tressle bridge in carver and have seen big cats pulled from there.

  • hey no offence this is what happens when u act like a dumbass bring a cell phone when fishing some way to get ahold of someone if something good like this case or something bad happens

  • The guy in the video says he snagged the fish in the head. In Minnesota it is illegal to keep gamefish that have been snagged (accident or not), so the guy in the video broke the law by putting the fish on a stringer. Guys like this are a disgrace to the sport.

  • haha god I miss ya man ... how ironic I would stumble upon this dipshit's video and lo and behold you commented on it :) Hope all is well man

  • You are an idiot for A) Tying this fish up overnight and B) Thinking it's a record. Oh and C) Making a video and posting it on Youtube of your illegal activities. Don't be surprised to hear from the DNR.

    Let these big fish go!

  • that is like the size of my 45 lbs cat

    no way thats a 60 ++ pounder

    I fish at carver all the time
