This is a video of us driving from the hotel Inter Continental in Doha, Qatar, to the city center. It's in one of the hotel's limos, a BMW 730iL. I deleted the sound, because it's just us talking, and you don't hear the car anyway. Take a look at the omnipresent Landcruisers. I mean, they are everywhere. What's up with them? :) I didn't count them but I am sure there are a couple.

And since there were a lot of questions: I have only been there a couple times for a week or more each. I did not LIVE there for longer. From what I saw and what people told me it's a very nice place to be. If you as a Westerner "have to" go to the arab peninsula, to learn about the culture and the people, this in my eyes is the place to go.

The Muslims in Doha are about the most friendly and understanding people I have met. There is all flavors of people. From "normal" for us Westerners to wearing a Burqa. All are very friendly, and since I did not know how to treat a Muslim woman respectfully (like hold the door for her, or not even look at her) I simply asked one. She explained to me that if you treat them with respect and polite, all is good. I will never forget that. It's a great place, Doha.

Woah. I don't know how it's like to work and live there. I only visit from time to time and look after a couple customers there. So I can only say what impression I do have from those short visits, and as I said: it's awesome people there, very friendly, huge hospitality. And if you do have any problems with Muslims due to reports and all the stuff we hear today: Go there, talk to the people there. I only found open arms and kind words.

I went there in March to visit my mum and I love it there! its so beautiful and the differnt cultures and the places to go. I loved it so much my mum has arranged for me to go again. I am so happy to go there. Its very nice and especially the souq, Torch hotel and the malls. Its very awesome. And since my stepfather works for like the "headquarters" of Qatar (lol) I got to meet the prince of Doha and he was so nice. The people there are great and the school my brother goes to is great!
