Its worth watching this for music alone,if waste was aloud to rot it would produce methane so its good use of waste product, if this is being done at processing plant then heat form bricks and processing could be used at source either way its not being wasted, everything has an energy cost even getting out of bed .
Dear Boungjunsay- I am interested in information about the jatropha briquette machine. We are trying to make jatropha briquettes in Guatemala, but have been told that the screw press is not effective, and an extrusion style press such as you have shown, appears to work better. We want to know what treatment was done to the material prior to processing.
Interesting, so these briquettes are made from the solids left over from pressing the Jatropha seed? Do these briquettes burn easily? how long to they last? I ask because deforestation is a Problem in some areas due to vegetable charcoal production. what other by products can someone take advantage of, from Jatropha? I read that Glycerin can also be used.
Interesting design!
Could you please post the manufacturer's name, and the model number, please?

If the population all used these for cooking or heating, wouldn't we have a larger C02 and pollution problem? Should use green energy.
