Seem that sleazy Joseph Smith not only angered people by asking for his followers wives and daughters and even marrying them but also his subsequent lying and denial over it all and it seems he also broke his Masonic death Oath of secrecy and introduced masonic initiation secrets into his own mormon temple Endowment ceremony.
Mormon Endowment= Ripped off from Masons. Just like he ripped everything off all his life.

The link between Masonic rituals is undeniable.
Thanks for posting.
Mormons are leaving in droves because of garbage like this.
We need to pray the floodgates open.

There is very little information on Fanny. as far a polygamy most information is 2nd or 3rd hand. For people to hate mormonism for polygamy is like hating Moses for the law of Moses. Polygamy was practiced all throught he old Testament and continued with the gentiles well past the meetings of Niacea.

@scottwins2 Fanny was sleeping with someone else? Is that why she fled town and never contacted the Smiths again?
-
@scottwins2 I thought Fanny was 1832. What is the date of the prophecy commanding Joseph to marry extra women?
-
Probably the wife about whom we know the least is Fanny Alger, Joseph's first plural wife, whom he came to know in early 1833 when she stayed at the Smith home as a house-assistant of sorts to Emma (such work was common for young women at the time). There are no first-hand accounts of their relationship (from Joseph or Fanny), nor are there second-hand accounts (from Emma or Fanny's family). All that we do have is THIRD HAND accounts, most of them recorded many years after the events.

@SisterSkeeba Fanny Alger was not credible, she was sleeping with another fellow not Joseph Smith. As far as David Whitmer, he had his testimony of those so called golden plates put on his tombstone.
You are not correct your hate blinds you, Martin Harris was re baptized as well as Oliver Cowdery. why? truth.

@SisterSkeeba Next time a burger joint says my order will be delayed a few moments and asks for my name, I will tell her my name is Pay Lay Ale. Then when the worker who calls out my name, I will wait for her/him to call out "Pay Lay Ale"' at least 3x before I go pick up my order... and then I will say "Oh God, hear the words of my mouth" while I raise my arms up in a prayer circle! haha!
I read somewhere that Joe Smith stole the Masons rituals and did that to get back at the Masons for kicking him out???? And that he was kicked out of the Masons for being a questionable character? True or not, I decided not to join. They keep knocking on my door, and I just dont answer the door. I dont want to make a commitment to them, and I would much rather go shopping at the mall on Sundays and ride my horse instead of going to church.

@Wellington5392 " I read somewhere that Joe Smith stole the Masons rituals "
Yes Smith introduced the Masonic Initiation ceremony as a revelation for the LDS Endowment Ceremony. He plageurised the Masonic Ritual after having pledged an oath to death should he reveal its Secrets outside of the Lodge. The LDS church was still doing the Masonic five points of fellowship at the veil and death oaths up until 1990, after which they removed them.
Smith stole ideas for his cult everywhere.

Interesting, Mormon critics and Joseph Smith haters never quote from the journals of people that knew him to be honest and upright and a good citizen in the community, usually what you get is third party accounts of what somebody said about Joseph. Never the less, he is a marter to the truth and his witnesses to it never recanted there testimonies, including Martin Harris, David Whitmer, and Oliver Cowdery, as well as the other 8 witnesses to the Book of Mormon.

Then you need to read what David Whitmer said about him in his Address to Believers in Christ or perhaps what Oliver Cowdery said about his DIRTY FILTHY NASTY affair with Fanny Alger.
You are just a cult recruit, lying for the cult. Non of those Book of Mormon Witnesses even Joined your BRIGHAMITE SECT which is what you are. They all REJECTED Brigham Young.
