After seeing so many of your videos, covering the Lone Star State, I'm no longer surprised to see soaring and modern flyover ramps in areas where other states wouldn't even bother to attempt. US 77/83 looks both GREAT and pretty fun to drive thru Brownsville; I wonder when TxDOT reconstructed it?

@FreewayBrent july 2002 that interchange opened, i would imagine us77,83 was upgraded in the 80s.

@FreewayBrent I forgot to add, the first mile to freeway standard was once a city blvd, upgraded in 2007.

@FreewayTitan 6-8 hour drive from you depending what route you take, But a Very tropical area, more so than Corpus Christi or Houston combined x10. You may/MayNOT feel welcome, if you are not accustome to a leading Spanish minority, And Language speaking enviorment. More so than San Antonio or Austin , so it might make you feel ackward. but the people are very nice noneless and worth a trip if possible. SPI would be your destination NO-DOUBT. Book your hotel months in Advance.
