could someone help me understand the lyrics? i can't understand what he's saying in what i would call the chorus in this song... "???? you ever did see." does someone know what he's saying here?

This is astonishingly wonderful, they didn't do the "hallelujah" part (which is my fav) but I'll trade it for the Nov Blue part! Such a rare gem!
