Splitting up a tree that fell over a year ago. I stripped my elbows and back loading whole rounds into a backhoe bucket for an old army guy, and wasn't able to split my wood until today. It's best to split the rounds where they are cut. Lifting and transporting whole rounds is a waste of a good back unless there's a reason. I had to get this tree sawed up and tarped before the rains.
