If you buy a Rolex, everyone is moaning about the price, arguing that a Swatch will do exactly the same. The big difference is the manufacturing. If you know how a Rolex is made, you know what I mean. And for that reason I would rather say that a Omega is overpriced. It isn't a Omega anymore when parts of the movements come from China, are assembled by ETA (Swatch) and then sold as "Swiss Made". That's a different story with Rolex: 100% made by Rolex and 100% swiss made.

I own a Tag Heuer Aquaracer 300 metre Calibre 5 and it looks a lot like the Submariner…minus the cyclops.

The model is the first Submariner with square shoulders,
it was introduced in 1959 and the reference is 5512.
