Am I the only person who thinks Kansas is the most underrated band ever?
-
@lynn8356 There is just as much modern music that is of great lyrical quality as there was in the '70s: ALMOST NONE. The '70s/'60s'whatever decade was always full of shallow pop, and it's always been hard to find the Kansas and Simon & Garfunkels of each generation. Modern music gave us Starsailor and Vienna Teng, who were never really easy to come by.

Here's the thing; what got me kicked out many witch covens, Humans are a rash on the Earth. As George Calrin said, "The planet is fine. The planet is going no where. We are fucked!" We are a failed species of primate, it is done already, the Earth will heal Itself after we are gone. We, as a species, are insignificent.

They would have saved a song like this to close out their concerts, much like REO Speedwagon's "Golden Country" or Styx's "Suite Madam Blue". It just has that "crowd killer" thing. Last on the LP, and last on the minds of the fans at the show

@jurkis1 yes, pink floyd, genesis, elp, king crimson, and gentle giant say prog started in UK

The WHITE MAN was way to smart. He said fuck livin peaceful and in harmony. Let us rape and kill these niggers, spics, or anything that isn't pale lookin. If there albino kill em anyway cuz they are just pretendin to be white.

Only 97hundred views!? Are you freeking shitting me!?
here I am again, commenting on another kansas song. Pick a kansas album, ANY ALBUM, and you'll find music that will really turn you head when you really listen deeper. Modern music can't hold a candle to most of the seventies groups.

This is Steinhardt's best vocals on any Kansas song - EVER! Anyone who says that Kansas didn't have a bit of prog metal in them never heard this song...
