I was an escort for the Galway Rose in 1987. This song brings back really happy memories, not only remembering feeling how lucky I was to be there with so many beautiful girls but also the one week of pure craic that was had by all the escorts, especially when the Roses were not around. Souvenir magnifique d'une soirée passée à Tralee à écouter un groupe de 7 musiciens, jouant les musiques traditionnelles Irlandaises, dans un pub qui s'appelle KIRBY'S BROGUE INN, je crois. N'hésitez pas à me le confirmer. Tout le monde reprenait en choeur cette chanson, dont les paroles sont écrites sur le mur extérieur.
