Chamonix helicopter rescue from Flegere after snowboarding accident.

After finally committing to a snowboarding trip, Matin's FIRST run with a snowboard ends in disaster within a couple of hundred meters. The poor chap never even got to use that €200 lift pass.

Final verdict, serious shoulder dislocation. And a week of wandering Chamonix valley whilst we all had fun in the superb conditions.

I'm sure I was there on my first day when that happened. Was it this January near the top of Brevent? I'm sure it was a Sunday morning.

I broke & dislocated my shoulder on Vallee Blanche, so I know how he feels. Mind you I defo didn't scream as much!!!!

We did Vallee Blanche later in the week. ->
