  • nice. you've got some talent. i love the airlines. even the replicas. keep on playing.

  • Thanks bro! If you're interested in my videos, I broke down some of the licks that I like to use. And yes, the Airlines are a delight to play. They are very light weight, makes it feel like a toy, which is pretty cool.

Neck is smooth, and the case I got with it is

beautiful. Looks like I ordered a guitar straight from the 60's!

  • i played an eastwood airline today:) amazing. absolutely amazing

  • Yeah man, they're great. The funny thing is, when I got it it was already in tune ;). The thing is so light-weight too!

  • Is the neck thin?

    Nice playing.

  • Yep, the neck is very thin. Thinner than a stratocaster.

  • @Stratboy999 Believe it or not, way back when, this was one of the worst guitars ever. The reissue is a much better guitar, but the original ones were japanese made weird reso-glass hunks of junk (actually worth thousands of dollars nowadays because they are so rare). Jack white was never all about picking out the best guitar though. His guitars were hard to play, cheaply made, and didn't stay in tune. But he always said that music isn't easy, sometimes you've got to fight the instruments.

  • Now we all have our own tastes and I'm not trying to upset anyone or start a war, but I don't care much for the White Stripes or their music so that would normally turn me right off whatever guitar he played....

I overcame my prejudices and bought one of these guitars, and I will say one thing, the guy knows a good guitar when he sees one. Mine is fabulous. A real joy.

Nice tone / playing by the way.

  • how much did you pay?

  • what would you say is better. the eastwood airline 3P or the fender jag HH? what is this guitar like. light or heavy? reliable? worth the money? please get back to me

  • @misterbearmagicman the one he's playing is an eastwood reisue of the guitar which is made in korea but the original version of that is made in usa, i have an eastwood town and country and i would recomend that over an original airline because its made better but the original would be a great

  • @hailmasch For some ppl that's a reason too, but there will be plenty who buy it becos of the sound!

  • @hailmasch not really, if i had the money i'd buy it just cause the sound and how cool it looks.

  • @wernerkonings No, people buy it because they want the Jack White look.
