  • Now these days that conductor would be taking outta service in the blink of an eye.

  • Back in the day when you could take a train Vegas from LA or did have to wait until the evening to go to Chicago on the train.

  • If you're talking about the guy who said "SEE YA!" I don't think that was the conductor. I think that was the Chief of Onboard Services, because he's wearing a suit. They were in charge of all the train attendants, while the conductors were in charge of tickets and operation of the train.
