@Flummoxifier *newer audience (which are mostly teenagers), especially after Viva la vida and Mylo Xyloto.

@mapleman135 Of course it's their fault if they choose to pander to their audience's shitty "taste" instead of creating music that they like. Look at Radiohead. They also change their sound with every album and they don't even care about the response it would get from their own fans let alone the masses. A lot of the fans hate the new albums in the beginning but they grow on them after few listens. I don't care if a band changes their style as long as the music is good and sincere.

Coldplay, old or new, are a great band. They change their style to keep up with the current masses. If you want to blame anyone blame you friends or neighboors for liking the current shit we have on the air. It isn't there fault and they said themselves they change their style every two albums. Live with the fact that things change.

old coldplay was awesome. no synthesizers, bass arrangements were more thought out and the drummer was a good drummer... not a percussionist.

one of the best songs they ever made ;)

@hanopokolo Yep, love Coldplay and Muse equally, but if I had a gun to my head and had to choose, it'd be Muse. But being 2nd among millions is no bad thing for Coldplay
