"Equinox", using Echoplex looping device to record the rhythm part and second melody at the end.

  • Hey. Rhythm part (chords) you played by pick or fingers? Sounds like finger, but the empty hit in the middle sounds like it was picked.

    No octaver there -- I used an Echoplex to loop the initial melody that I played and then I played the melody an octave above that one. I also used the Echoplex to record and loop the rhythm part.

    I was trying to play what I heard melodically, but if you broke it down into scales, I'd say Dorian or Aeolian on the I and IV minor chords, Lydian b7 on the bVI7 and Altered on the dominant V.
