here is, like, the inspiration for many 1980's romance themes. I really hope that they are both feeling alright. (Because they've taken a beating from being used in new age programming. It is somehow better for Bishop that he didn't win the oscar. It is sad that he's so sad about that, and about getting a small plug in "as good as it gets." ) God bless.

Back in '83, my then wife and I were going through a nasty divorce/ separation. I for one did not want the divorce but she wanted it. I remember this song and tried to give the relationship half a chance in mending our differences. Needless to say my marriage ended. But everytime I hear this song it reminded me of always to try to make things right , it you can, before you give up.

Wow!!! This one takes me way back! I haven't hear this in at least 30 years. This was a staple on a jazz station I use to listen to in San Antonio, TX back during my Air Force years. I haven't listen to anything by Kenny Loggins in decades. Is he still making music?

@ilovegoodsax Sorry for the delay in response. Am not sure what he is up to, but did not know about this tune until someone requested it to be uploaded. Was familiar with Stephanie Mills version. Always loved his voice!
