I've never seen a Maurice Chevalier film from when he was so young. I've only seen the ones he made much later in his career ("Zank Heavens for Leetall Girls"..) so to hear *that voice* coming out of a young man is surreal and fun! Thank you so much for posting this!

I haven't seen this in probably 10 years. I can't really remember. Claudette Colbert was good, but "It Happened One Night" was her best film. Maurice Chevalier was a good singer.
"Just picture your wife 15 years younger, 20 lbs lighter, her hair dyed, her nose -- operated on. The same girl" Hilarious. Pre-Code rocks. Joe Breen would have kicked them in the teeth for talking like that
