Deckchairs Overboard, "Walking In The Dark" (rare "Night surfing" version) + int. w/ Cathy McQuade

An extended extract of the rare clip made for "Walking In The Dark" for Sydney based 80s band, Deckchairs Overboard. The segment also features an interview with the band's bass player, vocals and songwriter Cathy McQuade taken from an afternoon kids show on Channel 10 called "Off The Dish".
Cathy recounts the making of the clip and a brief history of her life as a musician.

Controversially this new version of the clip was commissioned after the record company deemed the original version (which included departed guitarist Ken Campbell and already posted on Youtube) as "too dark' and not commercial enough to suit the band's newly recreated image as a slick pop band. The clip was shot back to back with the big budget "Fight For Love" music video using the same imported US clip director. Notice Cathy McQuade's slightly awkward reaction when asked about the current line up of the band!!
