nothing will ever be perfect. i know that, i am neither stupid nor naive. i just think we could do better. i think insurance companies have proven that they don't have the customers' interests at heart, and as such, don't deserve our business. it is simply economically more feasible for businesses, and for the consumer to have other options. i would pay an extra five or so percent tax, in order to have decent healthcare. i'm not talking about a handout, but there has to be a better way.

well i would hardly call teddy roosevelt the republican icon. in his reelection he ran as a progressive. so im not really sure how socialism is a republican idea. wow you should be supreme ruler of the world everyone healthy and happy? mankind will never achieve a utopia.

well, teddy roosevelt, the republican icon tried to enforce universal healthcare as early as 1900 and something. it was a republican idea, bet that kills john mccain. teddy was actually quite liberal, he was a conservationist, passed the food and drug act, started the national park system. universal health care would actually be cheaper than what we have now. businesses wouldn't have to bear the burden they do now, and would increase their profits. and if people are healthier, it's better.

WoW. Iam amazed! Thats good, i really hope for McCain and Palin. Because this will make it all the way easier for europe to handle the weakend USA.
