@kfwahine From what i took of Dog's decision to proceed on with the wedding after learning of the death of his daughter, was that he knew deep down in his heart that his daughter would not want her tragedy to stop her father's act of getting married. I can fully understand and respect their decision to proceed.

My 16 yr old daughter died in a horrible car accident in Austin, TX while I was living & working in Ketchikan, Alaska. I do not see how ANYONE could get MARRIED within 24 hours of their daughter's death. I was psychologically paralyzed for the first YEAR; nothing made sense. My daughter's life was better celebrated at her funeral, the time-honored ritual. But at her father's wedding!? Her death date is nearly their anniversary! They must've been in shock that's the ONLY acceptable reason!

@terryliciareed My condolences for your daughter. The matter is though, the wedding had been planned months prior to her death. The whole family was stricken with grief and unparalleled sadness but they weren't expecting it at the same time. The wedding needed to commence. I can guarantee that everyone was plagued with the thought of Barbara's death. It's not something you can push to the back of your mind only a day after it's happened. Again, I'm sorry for your loss and may God bless you.
