  • @UpoundBUTTS It can only oppose good if we let it. It all comes down to us. Our choice makes the action, and the action determines our fate. The reason why he is absent in times of need because he wants us to look at a bad situation not with fear or discouragement, but rather understanding.

  • @MadHornetSeries Aw, very true.

In my view, saying that evil is the absence of good, or the absence of god, doesn't really affect the question.

    Why does god allow evil?

Why does allow himself to be absent where he is needed most? are the same to me. He still has the ability to intervene.

Also I do not think it is a fair analogy. If evil is to dark, what goodness is to light, then evil can have no source. It cannot actively oppose good. That's a problem for satan.

  • @UpoundBUTTS But the point it's proving is not affected by if it took place or not.

  • @MadHornetSeries A better analogy would be taking a set of students that you know for a fact (you know everything) will work hard and putting them in a classroom, then taking students that you know will not work (you know everything) and putting them in the same room. When the students that you knew would not do well don't do well, you beat them for eternity. Why not save a step and just start beating them? Why act like they had a chance to pass the test?

  • @MadHornetSeries The paragraph has 1 minor insult. It would be impossible to disprove beyond what I all ready said. I can not look at every discussion that has ever occurred between a student and professor, but I can see a pattern in these stories, bits and pieces of common stories interwoven into new stories, and a style of storytelling that is more like a parable than the recalling of an event. The burden of proof then lies on the person making the positive claim to show that it is true

  • @UpoundBUTTS The test was after Adam and Eve sinned, which was caused by satan. The test is by faith, not by most of what you do. For example, If we will take a classroom of a school, and there are hard working students and slacking students. If we were to balance their grades to an average, the slackers wouldn't have to do anything, and thehard workers can't do anything. So everyone ends up with a zero. Same way why we have tests of faith. Not just letting everyone in heaven.

  • @UpoundBUTTS But yet, you failed to disprove it, but rather make statements about it that has no competitive tone. So basically this huge paragraph you just said has no meaning except for making a few insults. You are avoiding the topic of it and rather pointlessly pointing out details to make it sound false when your really not.

  • The chalk story is better, also fictional, but better.

  • Oh silly christians, why do you rely on made up stories to support your beliefs? I'm not just talking about the bible; I have come across dozens of these videos and it is clear that none of these actually took place. You can even see them growing. This story combines the little girl who asks her classmate if he has seen the teachers brain; with the one about hot/cold, good/evil analogy; and then tops it off with a classic, ignorant attempt to make evolution a faith based belief.

  • @MadHornetSeries If he is all knowing he doesn't need tests; he all ready has the answer for everyone who will ever take this "test". The acquisition of knowledge does not negate free will. I am assuming you believe that satan is a fallen angel. He knew god and god's power, but he rebelled anyway
