The K Street Transitway Study is a study to support the development of a high performance transit link through the central core of the District of Columbia.
It might be possible that this busway or new streetcar line might be following a old 1930's streetcar route or bed though the city. Lets hope that it uses streetcars.
How do waiting passengers pay to ride? Are these supposed to be free? This seems a lot like BRT (Bus Rapid Transit), but BRT usually have mini-stations where passengers pay to enter while waiting for the bus, and then just hop on--no single file entry, waiting while others fumble for change, etc.
Another huge lapse in this model, where are the bikes at all? They don't exist in this visualization. We all know they will be there, so the planners either need to plan a cycle track, or we will just take the safest open area, right down the middle of the bus lane.

There were no bikes in the video.
