I am getting confused with the Palestinian reaction.

Muslims keep telling us "we love death more than you love life". So why do they make a fuss over us killing them? Shouldn't they be happy when we fulfill their wishes?

There is probably some disconnect, because I was born in the US and do not have any history of the past European portrail/treatment of Judaic people in my history (ie, this is a country of immigrants, we're all descendants of immigrants). When I referred to 'the opposite' is that in the US, the portrail of Israeli suffering is constant in the media, the opposite of what the speaker says is 'Jews doing bad things', so I don't know what he's talking about.

The speaker claims that the audience accepts both kinds of images for demonstrating that the Jewish people are morally not better than any other nation. The speaker claims the European motivation comes from its past relationship with the Jewish people.

With due respect, this historian and speaker is actually saying the exact opposite of the reality. For my entire life, I have seen countless images of the carnage from suicide bombers in Israel, and Israel has used the media is just the same way that is spoken of here.
