The anarchist philosophical and political movement has some connections to elements of the animal liberation movement. Many anarchists are vegan and have played a role in combating injustices against animals. They usually describe the struggle for the liberation of non-human animals as a natural outgrowth of the struggle for human freedom.

Example:

Leo Tolstoy was a Christian Anarchist. In "On Civil Disobedience" he wrote: "A man can live and be healthy without killing animals for food; therefore, if he eats meat, he participates in taking animal life merely for the sake of his appetite. And to act so is immoral."

  • Your so right(on killing happens)! The killers,in jail for life, should be let out on your logic and be able to kill u!! "A fact of nature". If tigers can kill,so why can't they, huh? I'm a human and not a carnivore ~ your theory proved WRONG!

  • yay!! I bet u like the fry's one's with abit of redwood cheese on top!! There soo lovely!!

  • @im0rtalpunk Only if you ask for them. Boo to all you haters of the innocent, indefensible vegetables! Boo!

  • @cincyblows by the way in a hamburger theres also salad and tomatoes and pickles witch are also vegetables

  • @cincyblows animals are also part of nature, you have to eat something, nature made vegetables to eat it's made for that, you only eat flesh nothing else? do you eat rocks? or maybe snow

  • @im0rtalpunk It's more sporting, I suppose, to hunt animals. They can usually run away. Pity the poor vegetable who has NO chance for escape! You vegans are cruel and hate nature!

  • honestly I'm not against cannibals why eating innocent animals and not human? okay I would'nt eat my best friend, also meat eaters would'nt eat their pet (mostly) but I don't mind eating a nice piece of meat khadafi

  • @cincyblows good luck with sending I would like one if it's human flesh

  • human sucks! 1) they ruind nature 2) they're cruel, I have nothing against our biology of what we are but what we've done is just cruel, we invented new medicines but also created new diseases, animals should have same rights as animals, i'm belgian, here death punishment or whatever it's called is illegal since long, but if a dog just bites even without injury it directly gets a death siringe! fuck law just stupid human invention!and we treat killing and raping human well? what is this world?

  • I just had THE best sirloin steak! OMG it was good!! Tomorrow I'm going with a hamburger. Would you like one?

  • @Nate2203 If we indeed had the capability to think that you say we have, we would not be doing what we do.
