The Seattle.js team (Damon Cortesi, Aviel Ginzburg, Jacques Crocker, Grant Goodale) recently won the "most popular" award of the recent node.js KnockOut competition.
Their entry, Scrabb.ly, has already generated 1/2 million tiles played on the board, along with consuming countless hours of human effort, for the fun of competing to show up on the leaderboard.
Scrabb.ly is a tour-de-force of JavaScript programming (the team launched after 48 hours of programming) as well as mashing up other backend services.
Grant will tell us how they built Scrabb.ly, and what the aftermath of releasing it has been like.
