@amberstrocel Cheers for that..let me get back to you with a PM..I can talk you through some basic wet felting techniques if you like:) I;ll also give you the isbn numbers from a few very helpful books available from Amazon that will inspire you,Wet felting is very quick, requires materials ie bubble wrap, very low tech indeed. Will get back to you soon..take care, maybe you can suggest a better needle for me as mine is wrecking my poor hands..lol..take care Sophie:)

I've been using the same technique as you with the felting needle the last few days,I have pretty severe rheumatoid arthritis in my hands+it's killing my poor hands!! LOL..I've always used the wet felting/soap tech..have you tried it too hun?
I've done is a 3 part process, boil washed a mohair blanket into a thick background,,then I've "drawn" on my BG in merino wool+now I'm "trying" :( to add finer embellishment using your technique.
Any tips/hints to help save my hands?Thankyou v much Sophie;)

@MsMagicalCat I wish I had tips - but I haven't had much luck with wet felting. I'm sure there's someone who can help, though. I know our local arts center offers felting classes. If you can find an instructor, I'm sure he or she could help.
