The World War I era biplanes coming from E-flite have a huge appeal to almost all RC guys and with the introduction of the Nieuport 17 many new model builders have started building these replica airplanes. When it comes to doing the final assembly and alignment a builder might wonder how he is going to measure the various wing and fuselage alignments since it seems there are so few common points where a person can check the dimensions from one side of the model to the other. It is important to be as accurate as possible but your visual references are going to get it close enough. John Redman, the designer, has some very helpful tips and explanations.

Please watch our video showing the Nieuport 17 alignment procedure and learn about some easy methods to fine tune the final assembly of your models.
