Taken from the summer of 1994 as far as I can remember. These were two of my favourite bands at the time, and I'd seen this on the Saturday dinnertime and subsequently set the video for the repeat that was on in the wee hours.

The Whiteout and These Animal Men bits are slightly worn out, as I played them a bit too much back in the day. No YouTube in 1994, after all!

when indie was really interesting you could find great bands like Suede,Cranes or Drugstore in the charts.

This is very strange. As I live in France and knew all those songs at their release but used to watch MTV's 120 Minutes at this time, I am surprised how England's choice differs from France's choice. These Animal Men couldn't have been number one ! Thanks for this rare Whiteout video !

I remember watching this and running out to buy Detroit. Still a fantastic tune.
Always thought These Animal men were a bit shite though.

I remember seeing this at the time and thinking the guitarist from Whiteout had quite a smug face, seeing him again reminds me that this was indeed the case.
