AbilityNet Consultant Johann De Boer demonstrates screen magnification software. He explains the impact page layout and design can have on web users with low vision
Awesome vid. :D I use the zoom utility in my Mac every day and am used to controlling the arrow & magnifier with my touch pad. I find I don't have as much of a problem with the arm issue because of the touch pad, but I worked with the magnifier on desktop Mac as well, and I do think my arm was a little tired at the end of the period (note that the period was 3.5 hours or so).
I think the obvious solution is a modification to the program that allows you to pan across the screen using keyboard arrows instead of the mouse.
