  • @duffyc64, besides the fact that your comment is all in one sentence with no capitalization and no punctuation, I find so many difficulties with your comment that I am posting it on my Facebook page (Edward C Tarte) and inviting responses; and I am considering making a video about what you say.

  • I really enjoy your videos. I think it would be very interesting if you made one about nuns and why they join. Nuns have always seemed to be very sad people to me. What's the point of living a nun lifestyle ? Also I think you should loosen up a bit. Don't worry about how many subscribers you have and try to have some fun.. Remember you probably aren't looking for followers, you've had them before and what did that prove ? Tenbears

  • @SHADOW10621,I am not worrying about how many subscribers I have. 'Loosen up; try to have some fun'? Watch some of my piano videos and some of my math videos.

  • @hawkertruffelsnout No, the RCC would NEVER agree to that. It prides itself in claiming more than a billion adherents, and uses that claim to enhance its global prestige.

  • @BrentGrainger2000 I agree, I to am a recovering catholic, I think religious people should have to renew their membership every year, just like any other club, then maybe we could see accurate numbers of followers, but somehow I don’t think the church will go for that idea

  • Thank you for posting this series of videos. They are a welcome counter to Robert Barron's series in which he sugar coats the absurd teachings that you so articulately describe. Today, in order to keep Catholics in the fold, priests like Barron talk about new definitions of god. I'm a recovering Catholic. I did my best to repudiate my baptism but the bishop would not destroy the records. Once the RCC has you, it likes to keep counting you regardless.

  • @edwardtarte I love the way you first point out the grammatical errors in the above comment! I also think you are great and I enjoy your refreshing insight into religion. Thank you so much!

  • @BalzacCinema Is this long enough? (hurr hurr) If it makes you feel any better, I don't know who "the fuck" you are, either.

Atheism is a dedicated belief to the denial of the existence of God. Get over yourself and your self-delusion.

Concepts don't exist? Then how are we able to, you know, conceive them? Is the realm of the mind any less real than the realm of the physical?

And~ The standard rebuttal will be something along the line of "STFU you don't know anything lol"

  • I stumbled upon your channel with great interest. I was brought up RC and at a very early age around 7 or so were telling me things I just couldn't believe such as the trinity and other things which seemed to be just magic or fantasy. Being interested in science I saw the two did not agree not to mention I was not happy with the way the RC church treated women. This was almost 40 yrs ago. Needless to say Dad wasn't happy. I could write a book in this post, keep up the good work!

  • @GenghisKhan44

Your comment is evidence to me that you are as thick as two short planks.

Also, Genghis Khan would be turning in his grave if he knew -you- were using his name.

  • @edwardtarte I'm not sure if I "buy" that...however, I guess we are going to have to agree to disagree.
