Canon EOS M Mirrorless Camera Hands on First Look. The Canon EOS M is Canon's first mirrorless camera but inside it has much the same technology as the Canon 650D. The 18-million-pixel sensor, is the same CMOS device that supports the hybrid AF system for continuous focusing during Live View and video recording. Although the 3-inch 1,040,000-dot screen is fixed it is the same as the one in the 650D and is touch sensitive.

In this video Angela Nicholson takes a look at some pre-production samples. This is the new Canon mirrorless camera and EF-M 22mm f/2 Lens.

tip for your next video. dont angle the camera so that the screen reflects glare from a window

Unfortunately we weren't able to choose the room, it was completely white apart from one wall which was all window. Reflections were hard to avoid.

This was just a hands-on review that we shot just before the camera was announced - we only had access to a pre-production camera that we could shoot with. We now have a full review video with test shots.

The reflection is from lights above and could have easily been avoided.

The review was as if it was someone who did not like the camera at all and then just wanted to get through it.

Hey, are you familiar with "photo SFX art" (just do a Google search for it...)? On their website you will find a useful free video explaining how you can take awesome pictures. It made it possible for Daniel to shoot photographs that leave you with a wow-effect after you look at them. Perhaps it will work for you too...
