I'd never actually heard any xavier rudd and my first experience of his music was this song performed at the Blues Festival a Byron Bay a few weeks ago. I was struck, such a great song. Everything he does frankly is amazing.

You won't find it on any Xavier album. Mavis Staples and Ry Cooder wrote it. It's on Mavis's album We'll Never Turn Back

xavier is the best respect to him and his music and the folk still stayed the same ..
met him in the optimus festival in partugal last year and the guy just took time to speak to us
his music reflect his personality he is a real artist

Was front row at the Blues Fest 09! by far the best performace I've seen. Def worth the 2 hours of pushing and fighting to get so close.
Shame he's in the states all year...
