Guitar used in this clip: hard ash Strat using a Dimarzio Super Distortion plugged straight into the amp.

Used to produce the clip: sm57 on a greenback inside a 4x12 into a Digidesign 002r into Protools. reverb was added after the fact inside Protools.

@sixstringfretter I used the wrong word,harsh is a bad term. i just hear that dimarzio flavoring the tone of the marshall too much. lower output PAF types keep the pure tone intact better at least in my experience.

Obviously marks work/playing is outstanding here.

I don't understand...only 8,000 views...and so many people search for this tone, or try everything to get closer to this tone...they buy a pickup or a evh guitar...but the MOD5 is so awesome to hear the old VH tone..should be like 20,000,000 views!
