Hi, Im planning a trip similar to yours this summer. Just interested to know how much training you guys did and how much you had ridden before (I have cycled for a few years but my mate is pretty new to it although he is a good runner/ rower so has good fitness) and what was your typical mileage each day?

@curtisakalefty for this trip we used a Dawes Super Galaxy and a Dawes Audax sport. They both faired well, but the Audax suffered severely on steep hills because of the limited gearing. If you'd like any more info, please ask :-) more than happy to help!
