Maggie after only one week and 3 NoGi Brazilian Jiu Jitsu training sessions with no prior training.

Rick and Jeana joined and started training at Bushido Fight Team / Team Jarquin in March 2008. Train Muay Thai with no prior training.

  • Keep it up, kids. You seem to get the gist of the moves you try, now just fine tune the details and rack up a thousand of hours rolling or more... You'll be good to go.

  • Just to clean up the drills a little bit - When you do that holding hands while throwing your legs over drill, it's good to practice figure four-ing your legs as to simulate a triangle. As for the americana, it's almost impossible to get a tap like that. You must first pull down towards their hips, then tweak it. For the armbars, you want to keep the their arm glued to your chest the whole time, instead of falling back and then grabbing the arm. Otherwise very nice basics. Impressive!
