Obama didn't spend more money in four years than Bush did in eight but his total budget deficit in four years has been higher than Bush's eight years. Regardless, he did not reduce the budget deficit in half by the end of his first term and that is contrary to what this clip states. The "Hard choices" quote is laughable as he tours the country fearmongering over what would be a minimal reduction to the budget deficit.
