R/C Flying Boat Short Take-Off Close Shave and Crash

This is first time on the water for the IdroJeep Gen. 2. A discussion among club-mates took place whether it was possible to start and land on the pond. Discussions like these never end well!. I had to try. It did work. The IdroJeep could land and start on this pond, but without any marginals...The start had to be done in a curve to get enough acceleration and to avoid the obstacles in the pond. The start was also done downwind, as that was the only possibility... The crash on the end was due to one engine failing. It seems that the speed-controller loses sync with the out-runner engine...which generates a very strange noise, plus loss of power... Have to fix... Something is wrong. The damages where on the nose only and are easily fixed.

@chochmah The idea from the beginning was flying like this (which you can allow yourself when it is a small RC plane). That is why there is a Jeep in the name!.
