hitting hard does not demonstrate any sort of mastery in popping. Baby bang came at it a lot more spastic than Franqey. Franqey showed musicality and manipulated his dancing to the beat AND style of music played. I've seen him pop different than this, he was just matching the beat this time. Baby Bang just tried to force his only styles onto a beat that was too funky for his hard hitting rapidity. Franquy had this one in the bag.

While you are right, I think Baby Bang's routine at Pop What You Got (it's in the related videos right here) is one of the tightest routines I've seen. I do think he was a little older there, though.

Yeah, man. I think rookies love Baby Bang for all of the wrong reasons. The kid is still learning how to dance under pressure and transition well. He lacked in musicality and in coherence between his sequences. "He hits hard"... yes he does. But, that doesn't make him dope. Look at those who's style he mimics: Mr. Wiggles can hit hard, transition well, and demonstrate great musicality. Given, Bang is just a young buck still, but he's on a good path. Franqey had this though.
