Chapter 157: White Horse

I put on my best smile for the red carpet. The only question I was asked was about David.

Rumors of our speculated relationship's split were everywhere. I tried to hide my sadness when I answered that we were not, nor had we ever, dated. I was like my brothers when it came to my personal life...it's none of their business.

Inside I sat in between Joe and Nick. Dad was on the other side of Nick. Demi was behind us. My brothers chatted to a few stars, and asked Jordin, Jesse, and Frankie V to come to the House of Blues for a little concert after the show. They agreed.

Jimmy Kimmel did a great opening monolague. My brothers were a target for jokes. Nick and Miley; Joe and Taylor.They took it well though, and gave small (fake) laughs.

Taylor did a performance of Forever & Always, which she wrote about Joey. She kept looking at him, shooting glares and motioning in his direction. I leaned my head on his shoulder to watch. She got mediocre appluase.

Next, it was my turn. I had changed into a floor length white dress. I sat down on the prop couch and looked at my lap as I sang.

I finished standing center stage. I dropped my head, and left the stage to a large round of applause. David was here, and he heard the song that was written for him. I thought I was a princess. I was in my brothers and Dad's eyes, but not David.
