Pleasant Pond Mountain, Caratunk, ME. Trailhead Elevation: 1,400 feet, Top Elevation: 2,477 feet. Brenden (6) has Spina Bifida and has limited use of and little feeling below his L4 vertebrae. He usually gets around on his wheelchair, or by scooting on his hands while dragging his legs (like in the video). I carried Brenden up in a backpack. Brenden insisted on going down the entire mountain on his own and did it! All 1.6 miles! So proud of our little man!
I found your video thanks to our friends with Boosterthon. I can't wait to show this video to my 6 and 11 yo, very inspiring. Great Job Brendan, you are awesome dude!
May God continue to bless your family!

That is one cool kid. My baby girl has SB and I was just wondering to myself how are we ever going to go camping and hiking. This guy has given me hope. Thanks Brenden.
