  • this is amazing, did you know this was the first ever broadcast to report a battle live to the public on radio. a lot of people wrote into the bbc either to complain as they felt it was wrong for the reporter to sound so excited whilst above him there were people dying others to say that it was great to hear the germans being taught a lesson.

    It wasn't. There was lots to document the actual raid.

  • There is a film that goes with it, its some Ju87's attacking ships in the early stages of WW2.

    Stukas were very easy prey for fighters.
