@freshPrincess626 because the brand new yeti is very hard to maintain, its a very heavy animatronic. the abominable snowman in disneyland doesnt even move, it just has light up eyes, which is pretty easy to maintain.

lol, i haven't been to the World since everest opened but i've heard that complaint a lot. i don't get it, how is the abominable snowman from the Matterhorn, which opened in 1959, usually fine, but they can't seem to fix this brand new yeti?

What a great shot going up the mountain, the sun was just gorgeous. I hope to go on this ride someday, but for now the Matterhorn is just fiiiiine with me. :D
