i really don't think you should have a metro UI for a desktop... it just doesn't make sense to me to have a tablet OS on a desktop..

@Hondaminican learn to read? I was talking strictly about mac fanboys think apple uses superior hardware ( as in custom cpu's, mobo, gpu, etc ) when in fact they use the same components pc uses but in a pretty package. OS wise windows will win just because most of us want games not just a pretty interface. Mac OSX is based on FreeBSD so you're paying for a skin to a free OS. P.S. calling me a kid? that's the best you can do?

@bgioni Kid, I have 3 laptops running windows + a partition of windows 7 in my mac & hands down. my mac out performs all the windows machines.. even with all the flaws of lion. & its not even like i am a fanboy of apple because i had 2 iPhones & both of them were traded in for blackberrys.. so it doesn't corrupt people.. its just a better system. oh & its not the same stuff.. osx was written on UNIX
