@Raeb222. Those are not decimal points. In algebra, you can use dots between numbers to show multiplication. So that means 4 times 5 times 5 since I am plugging in 5 for y. Sorry for the whispering; my new videos (organized on my website yourmathgal) do not have whispering. This was made in 2009.

@79holdentorana: First you need to know how to do order of operations and know how to do exponents really well, so watch those videos first, and then try this again.

@fallentearify:Sorry for the whispering. Were you wearing headphones? I stopped doing the whispering a year ago or so, but some of the videos I made when I first started posting still have it. Funny thing...either people write to tell me it scared them (exactly the opposite of what I wanted!) or tell me they like it and want me to do it on my new videos too. Oh, well! Hope it didn't deter you from watching the video. All my videos are organized by topic at the website on my main youtube site.
