Don't have anything against UPS, I worked there for 3.5 years. Good benefits and decent pay. But when offered a choice I always much rather ship by USPS. It's not only quicker but cheaper too.
However I must ask, isn't that the reason to own an oversized mailbox like that, so that parcels may be placed inside it?
