  • I'm sorry but you have got to be an idiot if you even consider applying for a quarter million loan knowing you only bring home $1,600 a month I mean how could she even think she could afford it? She needed the mortgage company to lie to her? In a way this is peoples fault too. You should know what you can afford a month after all your other bills are paid!!

  • These are great and informative videos. Thanks.

  • @gsrhatch14 no need to apologize. She's an complete idiot! This shit pisses me off.

  • These people SHOULD read their contracts before signing a 15 or 30 year mortgage deal, sorry they made their beds, lie in it!

  • -MERS is a criminal operation, but also- 'speculators' "flipping-houses" in a frenzy were a huge part of problem (-should have been required to pay 50%-Dwn.Pmt.), -their greed drove-up prices, causing legitimate house-buyers (sole-property live-in) to pay an artificially inflated-price! Thus, Foreclosure-court Judges need take far more lenient view of legitimate Sole/home-buyers that paid a substantial down-payment, but became impacted by downturn of the economy and resulting loss of income..!!

  • ...LIE CHEAT STEAL...thats the American Dream!...

  • Chris Hansen''s role in this doc reminds me of the "To Catch a Predator" ones. The same slime balls.

  • @gsrhatch14 true but its mostly the company fault for not telling the truth and giving her false hope thinking she had a chance when she did not.

  • Mortgage companies or not, people need to learn to take care of their money. Double and triple check everything that happens with your money. I have found out a couple of times that a waiter added extra tip to the credit card bill. Be smart people, always triple check anything financial!

  • How do people agreed to buy a house defaced with spraypaint? LOL

  • Chris Hansen is my hero and this Harvard professor is my hero too!
