well i have had my venom for 7 months and i have had no problems at all. no glitches and no lockups. i have no idea why the gentleman had problems with the GuitarCenter Demo. Mine is Awesome. i have a new Kronos too and i find myself grabbing my venom just as much. i had a Blofeld Keyboard and reached for the Venom almost always. i sold the Blofeld. i cant recommend this little beast high enough. for the money NOTHING TOUCHES IT.  been using synths since 1985. i know synths.

I have it since few days and it is fantastic really, it dosn't sounds as an VA it sounds more analoghue, and I have many synths much more expensive. Regards

I played Venom at Guitar Center several times now and it sounds decent enough but it seems to be very glitchy. First and foremost when you change patches you have to press the key down twice before it will sound a voice. Not good. Also it freezes on patches quite often. I had to re-boot it several times. Knobs work really strange. Take for instance you're playing a patch and you turn the resonance knob it does nothing until you go the right direction. Maddening. Also it doesn't come in black.

well the video is certainly welcomed...most folks dont live near a guitar center...as for the Venom, i was in the Guitar center today for an hour on the Venom and it is ADDICTIVE. i gotta say, a synth like this for 499? hard to believe. it is certainly not a virus or a Prophet but it is going to sell like Crazy because it has a sound that was SO MUCH FUN....i will be buying one soon. (moog phatty, Evolverkeyboard, S-90, Ion)
