Here's my prediction:

Iran, perhaps through Hizballah via Venezuela, drops an EMP in the sky over America, taking out our power grid, between 2015 to 2030. Enough of us die that we become insignificant.

a) The counterattack by our nuclear subs destroys Iran, allowing Iraq to become dominant OR

b) Iran takes power over Iraq and S. America, building Iraq into an economic superpower.

Thus, Ancient Babylon reemerges as the economic superpower of the world. And we won't be there to see it.
