@RandomMocker What the hell did I write. I can`t find it back. But Ludwig says hi.

@teemingup Wow, you knew Beethoven??

@Tarantulus666 : You have completely misconstrued and misinterpreted the intentions of what I have said. And your inclination to be so easily offended to such a general statement shows a lack of openmindedness. I personally choose not to judge things as "not having order" when I haven't given the subject sufficient exploration and study. For example, if I didn't speak Arabic, it could sound like gibberish to me, but that doesn't mean it doesn't make sense to someone else, and jazz is the same.

@jazzychanny This is a very pretentious reply, and why Jazz will never go mainstream. it's essentially "you're too dumb to get it".
You may want to reflect on that.

Damn that piano sounds good. Mehldau too.

smells like ten thousand crusty old people diapers

It's called deconstruction. You take a "standard", a leit motif, a riff, and then you make what your brain requires if your fingers allow you to. It's called go beyond. The suburbs of the sound, then back downtown. The intricate path is what matters. Not everybody can follow

what a bamf

People never like what they can't understand. Cacophony is a matter of perspective.
I just love the shots of thousands of people in the theater all there for jazz.

@IcedPhoenix666 Because Mehldau is a jazz player, and jazz is about celebrating sounds that would otherwise be considered "wrong". Personally, I think it's beautiful, but you're entirely welcome to disagree.
Differences are awesome. People, music, whatever.
